Activision has unveiled a slew of top-name recording artists for upcoming games, and the list reads like a who's-who of rock and hip-hop. Artists from Eminem to Usher to Soundgarden, Pharrell Williams, David Guetta and more. Usher’s “OMG" will appear in DJ Hero 2, and Grammy Award winning artist and multi-platform producer David Guetta will appear in the game with progressive house producer Deadmau5 as in-game playable characters. Z-Trip spins his encore as part of the DJ Hero crew, having consulted on the game’s development and is delivering two exclusive new mixes. As for Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, Soundgarden will debut an unreleased song, “Black Rain,” exclusively in the game. It will join Jane’s Addiction’s “Been Caught Stealing,” A Perfect Circle’s “The Outsider,” Black Sabbath’s “Children Of The Grave,” and Megadeth’s “Sudden Death," as well as many, many more tracks. Call of Duty: Black Ops features a new track from Eminem’s upcoming album Recovery. Pharrell Williams brings his blend of pop, hip hop and soul to the soundtrack for True Crime: Hong Kong, Activision's forthcoming open-world/action game.
