Nintendo today announced their lineup for the upcoming Comic Con in San Diego this week, and it includeds Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies for the Nintendo DS, and Metroid: Other M for the Wii. Sadly, Nintendo made no announcements about whether the Nintendo 3DS will be onhand to make its first appearance to the Comic-Con attending masses, so I'm heavily leaning toward: "Sorry."

This is the first time since 2006 that Nintendo has showed up at the Con, and as a special treat to fans, Comic-Con attendees who bring their Nintendo DS systems and copies of Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies to the show will have access to a special downloadable treasure map called Mortamor, available for the first time in North America. The map will be available at the Nintendo booth. To access the map, players must have their Nintendo DS system running the Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies game and set to “Tag Mode.”

So who's going to Comic Con? G4 will be there, of course, bringing you tons of interviews, news, game previews and more, as well as broadcasting four hours of live Comic Con coverage.
