We were originally going to be playing Ghost Recon: Future Soldier later this year, but Ubisoft is giving the development team more time to polish up their latest effort, pushing the game into 2011. Alongside the game, the beta was pushed back, too. Ubisoft doesn't have a new date. "We can assure you that the GRFS beta will absolutely still happen," said the developers on their website. "When? At this time we don’t have a firm date. We are taking advantage of the extra development time to bring you the beta in its most polished state so that you guys can have the best gameplay experience, something you’ve come to expect from the Ghost Recon brand." Previously, the developers said the extra time would be to ensure the beta was about gameplay feedback, not passing on various bugs and glitches. More time should make that less of an issue. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is currently scheduled for sometime in early 2011. Have something to share? Sitting on a news tip? E-mail me. You can also follow me on Twitter. More...
