Ubisoft managing director Rob Cooper says the company is openly embracing 3D technology. According to Cooper, most of Ubisoft's upcoming triple-A games will feature 3D for those rare, early adopters who have the set-up (and the dorky glasses.) “I do believe that Avatar allowed us just a little bit of advantage in terms of experience with how this market will work,” Cooper said. “We are working to offer the possibility of 3D on most of our upcoming triple-A titles, as we’d like to ensure that we are there for those consumers that begin putting new 3D enabled televisions in their homes.” Ubisoft, whose movie tie-in game Avatar was (arguably) the first, big-budget 3D game, is developing games in these series: Assassin’s Creed, Driver,Ghost Recon, HAWX, Prince of Persia and others.
