Gaming News - Yahoo: Microsoft will tie Xbox to phones (Investor's Business Daily

Investor's Business Daily - The software giant has tasked a group within its video game unit with developing games for Windows-run smart phones, helping outside game publishers, and looking for small, independent game makers. Developers will use the same tools to make a game for a Windows phone or for the Xbox 360 console. Microsoft (NMS:MSFT) also will link its smart phone games to the Xbox Live online service. Shares rose 1.4% to 24.71.
