   The game works fine, it is just that the font/text comes out and squares. I attached an image to what I am trying to explain, and if there is any help in resolving this it would be great.

   1. Try a repair from the installer, it's in the menu.
   2. Try a reinstall

   Is your OS/keyboard in another language than English?
   
   I get screwed up chat and fonts when I switch to another language by accident

   This is indeed a problem with the font and/or the encoding. Try changing your OS's language.

   my OS language is indeed in US english, but i alternate to Korean and Japanese as a secondary.
