Is there any way of disabling these Hall of Fame messages from popping up in your chat box? As much as I'm sure folks deserve some notoriety for what they've accomplish, I'm not really interested in getting my chat box spammed with notifications every time someone earns an entry. Thanks.
No there is not. Fourtunatly the global messages from other planets has been disabled so that gets rid of a lot of the global spam, only HOF's from other planets and globals from the planet you are on will now show up :)
there's a button to turn off the local planet globals. the purple one, I believe. you're stuck with the one that make any of the hall of fame lists. although I find them very annoying, some people live for those messages.
