MA has promised to make hangars available this year. I know it was the same thing last year but the sale of Calypso and the RL economy probably threw a monkey wrench in that. It's beside my point here anyway. So MA plans to re-introduce hangars. So far the hangars are all owned on Calypso. Just wondering if there are any plans to introduce hangars here once MA supports them again. Thoughts, ideas, concerns? EDIT: Posted this topic on RT forums as well.
Hey!!! That is not a Hangar! That is my sleeping place!!! On Calypso I had to sleep below bridges, but here a natural foxhole exists! :o
I'd expect that hangars (or what ever is reintroduced) will also be made available on other planets. a hangar, though, does take up considerable space, so what is reintroduced may look different or be some sort of hybrid.
If people keep wildly and irresponsibly speculating on the value of virtual items in EU lots of people on Calypso will end up sleeping under bridges! hahaha :-)

That is a very good question. Right now, we're paying a flat fee for each trip between planets. If/when hangers are reintroduced, will that option still be available? Or are we going to be at the mercy of the ship owners again? NI's economy is still very much dependent upon Calypso, since many necessary items are just not available here. IMO, being forced to depend on a ship schedule/price will further depress the economy.
I dont understand why the hangers are not returned ? I would be nice to see that private hanger business returned to the players who have spent a lot of peds to get a hanger. I understand that MA has been paying peds to the hanger owners but in my openion this is still not fair. I hope one day to see in the sky those space travel machines again....
if the travel cost can reduce by reintroducing hangars, I would vote 1 to let em back. If not, please do not return em back because it waste too much time to wait for flight.
my guess is that the teleport fee will remain. travelling by ship will be cheaper, providing you can coordiate it. which, actually, has always been the issue with the space ships. well, that and the numerous attempts at a space travel cartel.
