Hi all :) After completing the Foul & Argo Iron missions on Calypso I thought I deserved a holiday, so I bought myself a VTOL & flew over to take my 1st look at Next Island. Oh, cant seem to find the Gallery to upload my Sig, I've found Albums do I need to create an album for it?
Click on Settings at the top of the page. Then under My Settings on the left side of the screen, click on edit signature :) As for adding a picture the permissions are set to NO :palm: Maybe a mod can explain why or have it changed :)
Hi, As you can see I have a pic in my signature. I am not a technical guy really, just a volunteer mod here so cant adjust any of the forum settings. There is no rules on this forum though which require you to use local images, so you can use an image in your signature hosted somewhere else. Here is the code for making my signature appear the way it is. (I replaced the [] brackets with () brackets so you could see it, so in your signature you would need to use the [] brackets) hope that helps, narfi ps. looks like it still tried to make a link out of it in my post, but you get the idea
View attachment 918 This is what I meant. Also when in the Edit Signature window there is no button to add an image. Yours shows up cause it is a link from somewhere else. Not one that is on your computer. I guess you could add it to the gallery and then link from there. But why have to go thru all that trouble when the permission can be changed. Maybe we can get Enzo or Meg to change it. I am hoping to have a animated gif signature in the future and would be nice to be able to use it here.
Hello there Egg, watch out for the boars, they are a pain in the but! As for signature, I also can't add pictures to it :( and Softhart explains why, guess Narfi has permission to do just that?
