Just installed it but there's no sound. Using a Xonar DX as my sound card btw, tried both the latest official and modded-uni drivers for the Xonar. I've checked all of the options and sound should be fully enabled. Any help? I tried contacting support but I doubt they'll be much help and am still waiting on them.
Just quickly checking. Have you got your Sound on Mute? Only asking as I have done this a few times...
I made sure to check the windows volume mixer, volume is at full and not muted. Everything else works fine EXCEPT this game.
I have the same problem.... Installed the game yesterday and dont have sound in game, while all my sound sistems are on and running... dont know why??
Check the tools section of the client loader. Under tools there is a checkbox to disable sounds and one to disable streaming audio. If this is checked no matter what you do with the sound settings in the ingame options you will have no sound.
I noticed my speaker settings went strange after the last update, although it didn't result in loss of sound. I would imagine this is a temporary bug that has resulted from the most recent version update. I would send a support case at planetcalypso.com and wait for a couple of weeks for the next few updates. Hope this is fixed.
well you are not missing much, I play with the sound turned off a lot. Just make sure you have some nice music playing like MindStar Radio
