Maybe someone can help me. I'm trying to play a psp game on a tv and projector that only have Yellow/Red/White (3 output leads) AV cables as input. My understanding is using a lead like this would only allow me to watch movies and not paly games on tv. Now the psp can be used with tv for this using a composite cable (5 output leads). Sadly as I mentioned above my TV and projector both do not have composite sockets for input. I tried to piggy back the psp via the ps3 and play games on tv this way but I don't think it can be used for that (at least not that I could find). Using this method psp can be used to transfer files from ps3 to psp... Anyway I came across a device that is essentially a camera that's placed on top of the psp screen. So it films everything on the screen and can be used to plug into a tv. The quality of this device wouldn't be so good, a bit like one of those pirated movies people make using a hidden camera in cinema's. Anyone know what the solution is. Maybe I can use some other device as a go between the tv and psp?
I would suggest heading to a RadioShack or similar store, and asking for a converter cable there. You'll be amazed at the amount of conversion cables that are available nowadays, and I cannot imagine your problem is unique. I agree with your camera idea sounding like it will drastically affect your performance. Cables would be my way of trying to solve it :)
Thanks i was looking at av cables on internet and it seems the ava cable can be used to play games on tv provided you have a psp3000. Which i do - so i'm in luck:) The cable doesn't work for earlier psp models.
Some dvd players or stereo receivers have multiple inputs and a single output which goes to the tv. You could check if you have anything like that that has composite in and rca out, then just go through it. narfi
I just picked up the cable to adapt a psp 2000 to composite for my nephew at Walmart a few weeks ago. He plugs that into the front of the dvd player at home and plays thru that all the time now.. Quite annoying to be honest..I hate reptative midi rifs that go on forever.
