Remember the orbs? For those not in the know, a few years ago, orbs suddenly appeared on Calypso, as part of some event involving the Umbranoids and some missing figures or something like that. No explanation was givern as to why they arrived, leading to people starting all kinds of conspiracy theories about their origins. They were mysterious as heck, and dissappeared just as suddenly as they appeared, adding yet another unsolved mystery/unfinished storyling to an already impressive collection (Ahhh, the Egg). However, I am happy to report that my family and me found where the missing orbs went! While battling demons and undead warriors in Diablo 3, we suddenly found ourselves staring right at the missing orbs. Demons stole
You hadn't heard the leak? Diablo 3 is one of the new PPs, they just aren't going to be connected to the rest of the universe for 3 months or so till everyone gets used to it, then they will open up travel between them.
It's awesome actually :) Just the graphics are totally worth it, and I'm not just talking about cinematics (though the closing video for Act I is awesome. Absolutely jaw-dropping animation).
So cool that even little Amanda is playing with you guys. I bet she is beating both of you big time !
Only Peter To be fair, she is having a holiday today and we went to the movies. But before I took her there we played a little Diablo III and she complained because Peter wasn't home to join us ... 'it's too boring only with you mom'.... so there ... 'sighs' But it's amazing. She is 9 and don't know a word of English - and yet, she knows things in game - how to add people to teams fx, how to whisper and change gears, getting a follower etc. - which I never told her. She is hard-core ... like her mom =)
and playing games is a good way to learn English I think. Not sure if you can use all the English you learn IRL though ;)
I'm sure it will be useful. Next year she will also learn English in school. And we talk mostly English at home (me and Peter) + I'm sure the new baby sister will talk English + Danish too when she gets old enough to talk :)
