The Russian Federal Space Agency (a Russian version of NASA) recently released a bunch of images from the earth taken in such a resolution that even NASA admits they cannot deliver the same quality. The images are courtesy of the ELECTRO-L weather satellite, which boosts an impressive 121 mega-pixel camera. Below is a short impression of some of the snaps it took.
