HOFing and Globalling

I've Had A Few

I can only speak for myself here and can not give any reason for the number of HOF's and globals that a person gets. I know I have had more then my share. Let me touch on a few points you raised in your thread.

I do a little of everything. I am primarily a miner. Hunter second and crafter 3rd. I do not buy ores to craft with. This seems to be the most efficient way to do things.

"Is it that they deposit the most money?"

As depositors go I would say I am on the small side. I deposit once a month and more and more I am making it to the end and still able to play the game LOL

"They hunt the right animals?"

I don't believe there are right or wrong animals. Mostly I shoot what is in the way of my mining. Seems to work for me. :)

"They have like a Million-plus in skills?"

I am just about to roll over 100,000 skills, which in this game is still just above Noob status so I don't think it is totally skill related.

"They have the One-Of-A-Kind weapon or armor or tool that nobody else can get?"

I have nothing special. All standard equipment. I do have two life savers though, my fap 2600 and my Hunter pistol. Both have saved me many times.

"Their husband or wife works at MA and they get some kind of employee's benefit?"

Hmmm interesting concept hehehe NOPE

So to bring this to an end there is NO system, No plan. Just play the game and enjoy it and don't get bogged down trying to make any sense of it. Only MA knows how it all works.

Well bunny have allready answered you but i try to fill in some..

That depends on what Globals\Hofs you are referring to
If its the Crafting global\hofs comming from a few crafters
They are skills and item related, high crafting skills and the new (L) BPs gives you a good chance of getting some purple lines

Hunting and Mining is also skill related but not that easy to explain (MA secret)
But MA says that "hunting the right mob with the right weapon gives you a good chance of scoring loot"

What that really means is up to you to inturp ;)

I'd say that deposits increase your chances to score a global\hof
But there are alot of players that have been lucky without depos and vice versa
The "ubers" for sure dont deposit any more..

People who HoF often use higher ammounts of resources to achieve those HoFs. Hogglos take something like 10 PEDs worth of ammo to kill. That is why it is easier to HoF off of them than say Armax Cow Matures which only take about 1 PED of ammo to kill.

The same goes for crafting. When a BP requires lots of resources, the full TT value of the product will be over 50 PEDs so whenever a full value item is crafted, you get a global.

For mining, repeated globals from the same person means they are on CND using a big amp (spending multipe PEDs per drop).

I personally don't feel depositing has anything to do with it. I had a real good night last night and I haven't deposited for quite some time.
