Ah, I see. I ment however to offer music I created. Does this means they pay me 25000ped for each of my songs they might be interested to play?
no. the 25K ped it to be able to stream whatever you like 24 hours a day. your have to own the rights to the music or pay the royalties. technically, it doesn't have to be music - it's just a raw audio channel. however, you have to own a land area to be able to purchase this option. if you want them to pay you, I'd suggest contacting the planet management and presenting an business offer. I'm not sure how well next island is set up for that sort of arrangement, but it was suppose to be one of the concepts for rocktropia.
This was a feature I expected to see manifest in some form many years ago. Sadly I think EU has only drifted farther away from this reality. I had more recent hope that Rocktropia would come to fill that gap. But I am sensing that it won`t happen quite like that and be simply an outlet for signed and established artists who are willing to license their content. Years ago NEVERDIE had a song or so in the jukeboxes that were in a few of the towns on Calypso. They were removed eventually. I think the whole licensing and rights thing were more than MA wanted to or able to deal with unfortunately. Hopefully ND keeps making headway in the music content department. I know for a fact it would be easier if we had millions of active players that people wanted to get their "product" in front of. Artists and others would be beating down the door to get their stuff in here. But it is`nt worth it since there are but thousands across the planets with no clear target market. You could always contact MA or a planet partner. But I just don`t see it going anywhere unless you are a major artist with something great to offer(including publicity) in a risk free and low to no cost fashion. I speak from years of music business experience.
You can upload music to the (PC) screens that allow multimedia in the bink format, then sell the screens to people, much like others sell screens with pictures and videos on them. Or load the content up to peoples screens for free. you'll need an estate for this
oh right, I forgot about this. yes, this is an option. probably, the cheapest one. the downside of the multimedia screens is they're not that efficient and you have to be careful not to overload their capability. a couple of them all trying high quality audio and high frame rate image changes will cause serious lag.
