Amethera Outback #65 is currently on ingame auction. It is situated way east of TI.

Start bid is 160k peds, Buy out 190k peds.

 

so 400 shares each of 500 ped value, or 100 shares of 2000 should allow for buying that and a bit of maintanence. only problem is I don't think it's posible to set this up sooner than 3 months from now.
@Razer: I know of the EU fund (was interested once in it) and Star actually did this with CP(10 k a share there). I'm pretty sure this might be the future of LA, instead of one person investing a lot, many people invest ammounts they won't feel. It would be nice to set this up with people you know and thrust (well "knowing" someone here means you're pretty sure they won't shoot you in pvp4)

 

Would there be a possibility to buy a share with more then 1 people?
because 200 euro is a bit out of the reach for a 16 year old boy living with his parents :D

 

I think the discussed share size is 500 PED, that's ~40 Euro.



And 160K startbid are 320 shares only, the EP active members count is already higher...

well if I know one thing about these things is that rushing into it is never good so I guess we have time to discuss it (and set aside some funds). Are there any LA's at around 100k? I agree that minind alone wouldn't pay without a very active add campain and events. I still say medium mobs with medium density would be good :) thing is everyone is looking at the parts they're attracted to, people are still forgeting about actually organising this. Lykke and Wiszz will do everything? You guys have the time, will, mood for this? need help?

Okay, so a mining-only area probably won't attract enough income on its own. And on reflection I'd be in favour of 1k peds per share, so as to not become overly exclusive.

Therefore we need to consider medium mobs that don't agro easily. My immediate thought is Molisk and Armax, but I suspect that other LAs have these already. What else is there out there?

And are there really likely to be LAs available for less than 160k peds? To be honest I'd be surprised.

One question, slightly off-topic if we don't go the mining-only route. Why would it cost peds to maintain such an LA if there are no mobs? Surely ore and enmatter resources are 'natural'?

 

@Dusk ores and enmatters are natural but there are things like the hut near the revival that has a maintenance fee just as any appartement. and i believe the la itself has a maintenance fee, maybe for the fertilizer station even if it's unused...
anyway ola 65 that is on auction right now ain't worth those 160 i'd say. it has daiki and berycicle dna and it's at the end of the map, east of wolverine. Not a very good mining area from previous experience. getting there ain't hard but still, wouldn't invest in it
