ice daggers and stuff? clientloader mentions it, but nothing more..

Ice daggers are looted from sharks (already posted in the forums/entropedia, and where I found out), swords probably from ice drakes, just a guess as it is not yet listed on entropedia and I havent checked here yet.
Half the fun of new items is trying to figure out what mob drops them, besides someone always posts in the forums, eventually, where the items came from.
Dont be so impatient, im guessing that you may be new to the game, simply because you have yet to learn some of the basic "tricks" to the playing and finding the info that you are after, so your not going to have the skills necessary to loot one of these items yourself yet.

Dont forget, try asking the people around you that are playing. Most are more than happy to help each other out with information like that, just dont expect the NI team to tell you everything - exploring and discovering is half the fun.

 

Can someone post a thread in the Items / Weapons section for the Ice daggers with stats :)

 

Ahh, i would have expected you to know about entropedia then. Glad you found the sharks, shame they were all empty of loot. Have you tried the ice drakes yet? I dont know if the sword has even been discovered yet.

Anyone else know?

 

But thats the point - you know its there and its FUN to go see if you can find it.

Do you really want a notification saying

"sharks now drop ice daggers, heres the stats"

Thats boring and too easy.

 

I got an ice dagger VII and an ice dagger X from sharks. Was a nice run. I'm posting this not to gloat, but because it seems like you're being impatient and complaining. The implication of your post sounded like because you didn't get something it didn't exist! Perhaps I'm wrong, though, and you're not complaining.

I'd love to check out some of those Ice Swords, but I've found Drakes are rather difficult to melee and my firearms skills are not up to par. :-)

 

Aha! Yeah that does put a dampener on things. We tried taking some newer members of our soc out to the Sharks yesterday. 1 or 2 sharks vs the group was fine, but any crazy motions drew more and that usually resulted in one of us having to go back to the revive terminal to clean out spawns and stop the X was revived / X was killed messages. Id think you need a weapon that does a consistent 40 points per hit to be effective against the larger sharks, plus Gremlin +5B.
