I've been thinking it would be a good idea to have automatic firing with rifles, carbines, handguns, as this would reduce the firing lag that I often experience with having to press the mouse button every time for every shot. Instead, you would press the mouse button once when in aim mode, and then simply release when you've killed the mob. The rate of fire wouldn't have to change...
