Improved like-system: Post ratings

    We have some more exciting news for you, courtesy of our Premium Members, whose donations allowed us to buy another neat add-on for everyone to enjoy.

    Some of you might already have noticed that since recently, the "Like" button has been replaced. Where earlier you would see the "like" link in the lower-right of a post, now, when you hover over a post, instead you will see a bar with several icons in it:

    This allows you to leave feedback a bit more elaborate than just a like. We currently use only the default options, but we could easily add custom icons and descriptions as well.

    From left to right, the available options are:

    Like, dislike, agree, disagree, funny, winner, informative, friendly, useful, optimistic, creative, old, bad spelling and dumb.

    You can view the meaning of the icons by hovering your mouse over them:

    Once you added a rating, you can see what you rated the post as, and using the "Undo rating" option, you can remove the rating, and exchange it with another one (if you'd like):

    Clicking the "List" link in the screenshot above will show all ratings that have been handed out to a particular post:

    There's some more options, but most of them are self-explanatory.

    I like this system a lot, might need some tweaks, but as you said, that should be easy. Lets see how this turns out.

    I'd say "Old", "Bad Spelling" and "Dumb" are unnecessary.

    But what about a "Gratz"?

    Or a "Hussked"?

    Some new icons have been added.

    You now can, in addition to the existing options, also rate a post as:

    Gratz: gratz.png
    Hussked: hussked.png
    Thanks: thanks.png

    Should you have a specific rating you miss, let us know!

    Look at that I was able to change Peters post :)
    I had nothing to do with these icons.
    oh, that does not mean I don't like them of course ;)

    i like that feature a lot.
    also the new options, jsut the gratz icon is hard to spot what it is yellow on white background not good ;)

    LoL, that's one I had to ask as well. It is the feeling of shooting 1000's of PED into a creature and then getting a yellow "This creature has no loot" message.

    hmmm should I be worried that Tass just husked me and I didn't feel a thing?? And my spell checker says its one "s" :)

    • an acid spitting 50 meter tall boss mob
    • Hussk will do this 95% of current hp damage attack to everyone within the attack radius and then its up to player to heal as fast as they can before his other attacks begin killing you off. Clarification: Percentage of current HP damage does not deal decay to armor.
    • He can only be spawned by players through a quest, this quest requires items for completion that has a low drop chance from several new wave spawn bosses.
    • hes spawned in a cave that he cant leave. And neither can anyone else for that matter since the only way to enter is to jump through a hole in the ceiling and land in a pool of water.
    • its a PvP area, it will be in your interest to have a dedicated defense team at the dungeon entrance. Killing an enemy will really mean something here since both teleportations and flying vehicles are disabled in the region and its a darn long hike from the closest outpost.

    The Hussk was spawned first by Hijacker and cost him 4-5k ped of resources to spawn.​
    ​
    With 1950000hp (I think it was higher the first time spawned) it cost over 7000ped to kill.​

    (Really $700 to kill a mob??? I hope that number is wrong)

    Nope thats right as well as the extra $500 dollars just to spawn it in the first place.

    So total cost was around 1200usd and.......

    This creature did not carry any loot.
