On the page below you will find ALL the info about the new and renamed guns on Arkadia (except for a few prototypes that I have seen in the chat window) http://www.entropiaplanets.com/wiki/Planet_Arkadia_Weapons
I see there's a large available space in the right-hand column of item-pages, do you plan on having pics of items there?
We are planning to totale redesign those pages and make them look nice. We just wanted to get the new info out. The idea for the look is there, just need to build the template. I'll see what I can do this weekend.
Yes we do need pics, we need to figure out the best way to show them, but having the pics in the wiki will be a big step forward. It would be best if we had the 3 pages of the item info screens in the wiki, preferably nicely cut out. If you can make screenshots with the item info all at exactly the same place of your screen (opening a new item info screen will replace the old one at the same exact location) we can automate cutting the info screen out of your screenshot pretty easy. It would also be great if you could name the images so that we can use wiki magic to get them into the pages. I would suggest this: Item_Weapon_<full ingame name>_01 Item_Weapon_<full ingame name>_02 etc.
OK, that seems do-able... What I was thinking of specifically (sorry for posh word), was going into the auction and 'simply' opening-up the info panel for each weapon and then pasting the image into an MS-Paint (or similar) document (.PNG format) and try as much as possible to make them all the same size. Whether or not I can get 'printscreens' of all the weapons listed, is down to whether or not they are in the auction - can't think of any other way... I can name the images both in the file-name and also as a 'text description' as part of the image itself...
That sound like a lot of work, may I suggest you use a program like Fraps (www.fraps.com). You can set that up so you just have to press a button (print screen seems to be the simple choice) and it puts a screenshot in a folder you specified. No need to paste it into anything, it just makes a jpg or png file every time you press the print screen button. If you then make sure all the info screens are in exactly the same location of your screen, by the method I mentioned before, you can use PhotoShop or any free program (XnView is one I like to use) to crop the images automatically. I can help you get things set up if you need on Skype.
Should have said I use Taksi which is similar to Fraps. I'll make sure as much as possible that all images are in the same location/are the same size...
