Hi Farah! I saw you peeping in the forum earlier. I would like to know how much of the Middle Eastern culture will be in addressed in your planet. Will certain dress, actions be forbidden? And yes, can you share some screenshots? :)

You will probably be overwhelmed with the many questions, so I will hold mine off for now. :P

 

Hello all, and thank you so much for the warm welcome...! As Peter mentioned we're working hard to get Planet Toulan ready for gameplay in the first quarter of 2012, so there are still plenty of details we're working out and putting together –meaning I may not be able to answer all questions all in one go. I will of course keep everyone posted about where we're at in development and what gamers can expect so far (-:

A little about me:
While I've been an avid gamer for most of my life, and while I've worked before in media and communication, working on Planet Toulan has been my first proper foray into the world of MMOs...! It has been and continues to be an incredible experience for me and for Beladcom, since this type of 3D gaming is relatively new to our region as well.

About Toulan:
Screenshots should be heading your way soon, our team of designers are working hard to create the landscapes, characters and cities that will truly represent Toulan's Arabesque world, and we can't wait to share these with Entropia Planets!
The game itself – as I'm sure some of you have already read – is inspired by the heritage of the Middle East, its stories, culture and enigmas that we're using to create a mesmerising backdrop for Toulan. This means it will be a virtual world of thrills and adventures, and a worthy addition to the Entropia Universe.

If you haven't already, make sure to check out the Planet Toulan (especially the comics link!) site and the FB page. Let me know what you think, and please keep them questions coming...!

My questions for now:
1) Will Toulan have a fully functioning economy when it is launched? By fully functioning I mean items in all categories are out as well as blueprints for all categories.
2) Related to question 1 will all loot on Toulan have some kind of use when it is launched? This means Toulan items that are looted can be used and players do not need to store loot for years before some use is finally implemented.
3) Can planet partners allocate loot items to for example creatures?
4) Will Toulan have unlimited items?
5) How will missions be used on Toulan?
6) What do you think of grinding missions?
7) Do you play Toulan on the test server? if so which part of the game is your favourite?
8) Do you have any plans for marketing Toulan? How many new players (i.e. players who have never played Entropia Universe before) are you hoping to attract to Toulan in the first year?
9) What is your view on shops on Toulan and when will they be available to players?
10) Of the games you've played before which one is your favourite?

I just have one question for now that George has not already mentioned.

What "incentive" will Toulan provide mainly new players but also veteran players
to come and stay on Toulan indefinitely?
-Free events?
-Live singing performance by you Farah? =P
-Challenging non-grinding missions?
-Nice trading hub with shopping both's and other cool things?

Ok ok I lied that's more then one question lol

But here is the final one: Have you or do you currently play in Entropia Universe and what are you impressions
of the game and what would you like to see or improve in the game?
