Is tailoring Worth While?

    I been crafting since just before xmas and recently tried out the lesser elysia BP. This BP is good for improving tailoring skills similar to the use of basic filters. However I have to ask is tailoring really worth while I don't really see much use except for is a potential customer orders something before hand.

    Thus the only way I see tailoring being worth while is if you have a shop that you craft for.

    Tailoring may get a big boost after the ava update. Of course we will see if that is true or not on jan 22, but even if it isn't right away, I think it will be only a matter of time after words. :thumbsup:

    As it is right now, yes and no. Yes cause there is always someone looking for the latest fashion. No because the cost of the products TT value needs to come down before it really takes off. Also removing the 2 pec per piece cost of equipping the clothes should be removed as well. :whistling:

    Tailoring was effectively killed by MindArk when they linked the look of the clothing to the TT Value. I.e. repaired stuff looks better, and nobody in their sane mind would repair clothes that have no other function than looks for thousands of PEDs that will then be tied up in those clothes.

    The real issue (imho) is that there is a complete mismatch between what constitutes cool/good clothing and and what is expensive/hard to manufacture.

    so... yep, defnitely not worthwhile at the moment. May change eventually. Honestly, I've been starting to use more and more of the freebies from holiday gifts as they just look better than the tailored stuff... kinda similar to how the beauty profession doesn't really exist since Mindark has allowed avatar redos for what, the third time since 2007?...
