Simple truth here is that NI lost it's dev team shortly after launch (the real first one, not the ones that are just in words lol) and have not (for whatever reason) hired a full proper dev team since. You can't come from a completely unrelated background and simply learn to be a model maker, graphics artist, scripter, writer etc etc overnight (or even in a few months for that matter when you are also spending most of your time in marketing and promotion efforts, Meg has been asked to accomplish the ridiculous imo, hope Post is paying her the salary she deserves for being umpteen employees rolled into one).
