Years ago (2009) we had an epic event. Leona Cat Srelliw created and managed "Battle Royale". I was honored to help her amongst others. I was the traitor :-(

During preparation of the event I made a lot of 3d-grabs of Zychion Citadel for designing a map (stolen from a russian dominated society):

I got the permission to grab 3d-content from Entropia for private purpose before by the MA official Simon. He was also involved as "surprising guest" and was mortal during the event. My partner as saboteur.

Well, during my years in PE/EU I made a lot of 3d-grabs. Nearly 200. Not enough! I regret this today. It's not longer possible and much of the old 3d-content has gone meanwhile.

However, I archived this models as 3ds max-files. There is an old thread about it:

Unfortunately my licence for 3ds max 2016 will end within one year. So I decided to convert it all to STL-files. That means I can read them with my unlimited Rhino 3D - or whatever. I spent the whole day with the first half. 001 to 100. Nearly further 100 to do. Parallel I made a register for myself. While running this I thought I should offer all this stuff to the community. I made a PDF of the register.

The numbers are kinda chronological. Means this "Part I" contains old stuff. Feel free to ask me for 3d-models from this. Just send me a PM.

I will do the rest during the next days and make a "Part II"-PDF. Hopefully this Dropbox thingy will work:

Regarding maps. Unfortunately the software I used for the grabs (3DRipper DX) doesn't work anymore. But if you find another tool to grab 3d-content, it will be easy. Measurement is easy as well. My grabbed avatar was 2 units tall. Wich is correct because old Jamira is 2 m tall. MA uses something like 1:1 or 1:1000 or whatever.
My grabber got all geometry from the ingame scene wich was rendered ... the field of the camera. What you see is what you get. That was the reason for all the Zychion grabs. An item behind a house isn't visible for the camera and the grabber doesn't "see" it neither. You must run/fly around the house and make another grab. Later you may use any 3d-software wich can handle polygon nets to adjust the single grabs to each other and stick them together.

I made grabs of almost all apartments and houses player can buy (Calypso, Arkadia, Rocktropia and Monria ofcourse, because I made them). I will list them in Part II of my archive. I made a comparison of them in Rhino. You may ask me for special parts of my archive and I can send it to you.
Furthermore I can help you making maps if you want. Even without grabbed geometry. It seems my GC works again and I can spy on all corners of the Universe and make maps of them. Otherwise I'm out since years. What is a "Battle Simulator"? LOL!

In the middle Jamira in her Quad, right Calypso with its two moons, right down Monria, left down Rocktropia, left up Arkadia and Cyrene.
Damn close and small all that. LOL!

 

LOL! Yeah, something wich name contains "auto", especially "upload" will be my "auto enemy" ;-) But thank you for your kindly information.

But I was too lazy to continue with this comic. And one day we were able to drive and fly. But I agree with you: this was one of the most mysterious and interesting things in the game. Nearly at this time I had an interesting talk to Epic, the author of a crazy story about his adventures with these mutants - forgot the name. We talked about repair and run one of this spaceships at Port Atlantis or Chucks Hideout

Just to fly to Akbal-Cimi and fuck off that bad robots. LOL!

Probably I should really finish a very old project before I run all others: "The Calypso Blues" ...
