Nothing new with the Pitbull. I am busy to convert and archive my old 3D Studio stuff from more than 20 years. You can imagine ...

But I have a little candy for those of you who are interested in. Thanks to Google Drive I can offer you my model of the Pitbull:

All you need is a good STL-viewer. I advocate "3D-Tool". It is for free and unlimited:

Just open the model

Change the appereance:


Choose "Perspective", use LM for rotate, RM for pan and wheel for zoom.
3D-Tools comes with interesting features. For example Cross Section:

Choose the plane you want and drag the red arrow through the model. There is more. Try it out.

Well, four Kristins meanwhile at the vehicle section ...

... talking about what to do with all the stuff. At least they enact nothing but a priority list:

1. Imperium Spec Lancer (the sole roadster in EU to have nice visiting tours)
2. Jormungand (good for relaxing at New Switzerland, listen to old rock music and have a whiskey or two)
   
3. Quad-Wing Interceptor (nothing special with it but best for riding in space)
4. Valkyrie (not very useful but funny sometimes)
   
5. Sleipnir (good for flying with a passenger at planet side)

All others doesn't matter that much. Well okay, the PRX cars are good for photo shootings ...

After that the debate went to spaceships. All Kristins agreed in: "WHO THE FUCK NEEDS PRIVATEERS, MOTHERSHIPS and all that?"

Regarding the hight: I checked it in Rhino:

Look at the little yellow dot the arrow points at. This is the old version of sister Kristin. She was 1,70 m tall only:

So what I got in millimeters was at this grab centimeters in game. Tower: 515 m. In 1:12 it would be ~43 m. LOL! Hard to print!

To bring it back to the game is easy. MA could just import the old 3d-model. I like your idea to bring it back and make a quest around it. Something really mysterious. Not such crap as Monria.

More and more I fancy I should print some EU stuff. I know a lot meanwhile about how to handle and treat that crappy stuff grabbed from the game. What about a warrior with Martial/Predator armor?

While rummaging in my old archives I stumbled upon a figure of old pit babe Kristin:

I think she wears a Sexy Tank Top and a Microskirt. But hey! At this picture it could be a Little Black Dress (Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's).
I ran a lot of experiments with all the stuff lately. Why not with this sexy Kristin?
Okay ... sexy? Her "sexy" legs are dodecagonal:

Suddenly - out at the loggia for a cigarette - I knew, what to do:
I made some sections and replaced them by new drawn splines:

I did the same with the skirt. Than I made lofts from the new curves. Rhino is really a very fine tool ;-)

Looks promising. Probably it'll become a good model.

 

Yep, it's the renderer. Here is a "cylinder" in 3DS Max:

All polygons share the same "Smoothing Group":
When I set them to off: this happens:

Unfortunately the stupid printer don't know nothing about smoothing groups and soft shading and so on.
