Wanted: Official Forum Promoter A position is available within the EU chronicle staff for an Official Forum Promoter. Reporting directly to the Forum Owner, the position has the following responsibility: Promotion and Marketing strategy for the forum Seeking any and all opportunities to promote the forum Writing, Formatting and submitting in-game advertisements for the forum Composing internet promotional material for the forum Forging links within the EU community to cross promote EU community sites Marketing forum services such as private society forums and advertising Managing a (tight!) PED budget for promotional activities The successful candidate will have certain qualities: Will be beyond question a committed player of EU Be committed to their position Dedicating time regularly to the work Will have a smart, good looking avatar will own an estate in-game to allow advert posting Will have PC equipment and technical skills neccessary for the duties Will be willing to work for next to zero $ Fine print: EU Chronicle is a not-for-profit venture, so all positions are voluntary. Although there will be no pay for this or any other position, funds will be made available to budget holders to be used for activites pertaining to the position and any expenses incurred - to be agreed and reviewed by consent of the forum owner.
Although Ben is still officially in this position, I haven't seen head nor tail of him in a long time. If anyone has or does then let me know. I'm therefore searching for a 'secondary' promoter to complement Ben, or replace him if he's no longer willing to take on the job.
