After the Zombie Apocalypse, survivors nicknamed the Island of Manhattan “Zomhattan” because of the sheer number of Living Dead roaming the city. During a looting expedition to Zomhattan, a small band of survivors fought their way through thousands of zombies and broke into a secret government facility hidden in the basement of the Empire State Building. The corridors and labs were littered with the corpses of half eaten scientists and military personnel. In the heart of the complex they found a massive cold storage without power, inside feeding on human flesh, they stumbled upon the gigantic Silverback Gorilla known as KING KONG that once terrorized Manhattan before falling to his death from the top of the Empire State. The corpse, kept on ice for scientific research since the 1930’s, has now become infected with the Zombie Virus, effectively bringing KING KONG back from the Dead! As the band of survivors tried to flee the Secret Complex, they unwittingly set the ferocious ZOMBIE KONG free! Source
