Well since I have spent a lot of time wondering around dropping bombs I offer my services here if u have any questions about mining. I cant promise any good awnsers but hope to be of some help since it can be hard to get some basic mining info from forums in general

Yupp I have a Q Why does all miners only look for ore and seems to not care for Enmatters? :roll: Alot of higher crafting Bp's takes Rare Enmatters!!
Well, I for one look for them equally. EnMatter probes cost half as much, but the average EnMatter find is more than half that of ore finds so they seem worth it to me.
Yes, i look for enmatter in the same way as ore , but as Steveborg explains the size of deposits is min. one stage smaller than the ore deposits and there are more small enmatter depos. around .
mm I also think its as said above. Sizes are smaller so not that fun like ores. one other reason is I tend to stick to ores is the larger amount of intresting find in ore. Meaning rare now. If u where to find rare with enmatter its either Dunkel or Binary with todays mining sytem. Most of the of the stuff u find while doing enmatter also have a history of paying bad compared to ores. Oil is high today though and probalby will be popular but u dont find the stuff paying 150% or morw very often and that u usslay do with ores if at right place.

I think i must have on of the stranges mining strategies ever, As the Enmatter finders cost less then the Ore i tend to Buy and enmatter Finder which is the Next lvl up then what im using and when i can afford an ore finder or the same level i move onto that one and sell the enmatter finder on Auction or In Argus. However i seem to make abit of money with enmatter, Usualy not much around about 3-4 ped of a mining trip of 50 probes. And thats usualy enough to pay for my ME and repairs to my TP Chip.
