Oh, and to Peter ... there's a portion of my avatar name behind the search thingy where I can access my drop-down menu, so I'll live with it until you can sort out a resolution to this ca-ca! :)

And to RAZER ... I don't see your avatar name anywhere, unless I'm missing it. It might be hidden behind the search bar. Look at my pic again to see what I'm talking about.

Ok RAZER, thanks for sharing ... something is wrong somewhere, and I'm hoping that it gets sorted out one way or another, whether it's on my side or otherwise. Perhaps with Lykke changing the skins it will work better.

 

It looks like typing in a new post is now the Verdana font style, which is AWESOME, but when you submit the reply, it shows up the other font again. :( ... guess you might be working on this

 

Ok, am I missing something, or don't we have a private messaging system hooked up yet?
If this turns out to be operator error, then I'm blaming it on the time of the morning it is. :p

I think I figured it out, not sure, but I'll know when I get a response, or if someone other than the intended recipient gets the message ... LOL.

 

Thanks Peter, appreciate the feedback. However, I see no "inbox" label at all to the left of the alerts (when I get them). The "Search" bar covers my avatar name except for a small portion at the beginning which I can access to get at the pull-down menu, but I see nothing else my dear Admin.

I noticed all of this was the same on my laptop as well, and I'm using the IE that came with it. I have XP on my desktop and Win7 on the laptop, and use the Firefox browser on the desktop, so not sure what is causing all of this stuff to happen.

Also, not sure what is causing the Verdana font to convert back to what the default was after submitting a post.

I'm sure you'll get it all sorted out, I'm still lovin' the new environment a LOT. :)

 

If it helps any I am getting the same thing as Mindstar, the search box is covering my name, inbox....etc. I am using Firefox 4.0.1 on Windows 7 Ultimate. I am also getting a different font in the reply to message text box then what is showing in the thread itself.

On another note, why when I click on the "Whats New" I am getting over 10 pages of threads that are not new since the last time I signed in?

Yes, that would be my question, especially with the width of the forum, it's way too wide, but that's about all the big stuff issue I would have with the forum though.

I have a feeling though, that it will all get sorted with time as Peter and Lykke can work more on the forum. I know that right now they have a lot going on with their home with electricity and construction, so they're a bit challenged at the moment.

 

It has do the length of the username. People that have 4 to 5 characters for the username doesn't see this problem. I'm sure other people that have long usernames has this problem as well. I'm having this problem as well. I discussed this with Lykke and she already knows what is causing this problem.

 

WhooHoo ... the search bar stuff is fixed ... YEAH ... I can see everything now! :wavespin:
