I have never seen a game with such a poor in game manner. I'm glad I didn't shell out anything. People are just rude very few are willing to help. I figured I skilled to high for the adopt a newbie program so tried to find my own society to join. Got one approval the got kicked as I'm not in Finland or speak the language. So gave away all my sweat and the .5 Ped I had and going back to a game where people are willing to help. I thought it would be enjoyable but I was obviously wrong. But then again most games that require you to spend money to advance are that way I guess should have known better. I might get over this if I do I'll be back. If not thank you for all the help many of you here provide. To bad I didn't find you in game
Im sorry it didnt work out for you :/ I hope you have fun where you end up though, games should always be enjoyable otherwise there is no point in playing. gl and have fun, narfi
Hi Daxen ... sorry to hear that you had such challenges, and I assure you that not many are as ill-mannered as what you have experienced. I think you were just unfortunate in connecting with the wrong people. Is there any way we could try to work with this to make it better for you? Perhaps hook you up with a group that's more suited for you and what your goals are, as well as better time zone? Maybe this can be salvaged if handled properly, and I'm sure there are those who would be willing to help and meet you ingame. Let us know if there's something we can do - and also where you are ingame. I'm going to be away from the computer for about 8 hours or so since I'm going to bed now (11:30pm here East Coast US), but I'll be back to check in on this thread to see if anyone else has offered any help. I hate to see you walk away without an opportunity to at least give it a go. I'll catch up with you later Hon, but for now - don't walk away until we can see if we can help in some way. :)
Hi Daxen, Sorry to hear about your experience so far. While I am not sure what the skill requirements for the Adopt a Newbie foundation are, I'm convinced that Dalas will be able to hook you up with a society. The game has a steep learning curve, for sure, and a society to help you out with questions can be a very big help with that. Good luck. Peter
Hey Daxen, You've had a really bad first impression of EU which is not representative of the general population here. Plus you joined a Finnish society, not the best start :D As Peter (admin) said, I should be able to hook you up with something if you're willing to give EU a chance. I'm not only helping newbies you know! If you are interested in joining a mature and established society (who most importantly speak your language!), just give me a PM to show your interest and we can go from there. It shouldn't be hard to find somewhere for you :)
