Latest Xbox 360 Update Live, USB Support Added

The latest Xbox 360 system update has gone live, and with it comes the ability to use USB flash drives to store up to 16GB of content (profiles, game saves, downloadable content, etc.). While you can use any USB flash drive you want (assuming the 360 doesn’t flatly reject it), Microsoft is currently taking pre-orders for their own pre-configured 8GB drive from SanDisk, which also comes with a one-month Xbox Live Gold membership, that’s expected to go on sale next month.

I haven’t had a chance to throw in a USB drive and test out the configuration and transferring process yet, but I’m guessing some of you have. What’s the verdict? Any problems so far?
