Some of you might know that @Dahlia Gray @RAZER and me are involved in another gaming website/community project called "Ludophiles". Tonight is special for us because we are allowed to stream a game before will go "early access" on GOG tomorrow. Dahlia will have a first look Kôna: Day One, live in ~ 30 minutes on http://www.twitch.tv/ludophiles. Kona: Day One is the first part of an survival adventure set in Quebec in the 1970s. It's created by Canadian indie studio Parabole using the engine of @admin employer Unity. Went really well, especially the interaction with the developers was super-smooth. There were some challenges and in the end they gave us all the game files in a .zip. And they've joined us on the stream to answer questions, that was awesome. Whenever I make such an experience and then think of EU I can't help wondering what's actually wrong with MA... not that we didn't try really hard again and again and again... What's really awesome is the fact that @Acronoid has discovered the Ludophiles channel through EP and turned out he's a fan of Demon's Souls which @Dahlia Gray is currently streaming :)
DarkSouls made me quit video gaming since all other games pale in comparison... So yeah, if you want a total detox of video games; play and finish dark souls. (evil advice, half the people here wouldn't be able to finish it anyway, I'know) So more interestingly; you're a moderator on ludophiles? and ofcourse; big for Dahlia; seeing her play DeS is epic
Lords of the Fallen? Salt and Sanctuary? Ludophiles has been started by @Dahlia Gray @RAZER @Larkin and me :) We didn't want to do EU only (and it can be the final destination for EP after EU is history)
Nah, S&S is more a platformer and 2D; and LoTF is for woosies. Or maybe I just grew out of gaming in general.
Celebrating 10k Twitch followers this week, about as many as EU has active players :P On Friday (evening UTC) we'll have a gaming quiz with at least one EU question and a couple of prizes to win, maybe drop in, have fun with us in chat, guess and maybe win :)
Dahlia streamed EU when she just started streaming and was a noob in EU, but that happened one a few times. Think that was on her own channel still though, not the Ludophiles one.
