   Oops! You'd certainly be forgiven for thinking that was a safe thing to do!
   I suppose what you've really created is a kind of small fuel-air bomb. Very unlucky to get a spark off his inflater! I have one of those myself so will have to remember that problem.

   That's what I thought - maybe the pump wasn't in great condition, and you would think that the manufacturers of the repair kit wouldn't use a solvent that was flammabel I know what happened is not in any way funny, but when I read it, it did give me visions of one of those Laurell and Hardy or Carry On movies...
