and all that other stuff I left out but probably shouldnt have. People like to debate alot about the morality of the Holiday season these days. Its fashionable to pick on Christmas as a marketing ploy, or a tool of some religious zealot to bully the public into a particular point of view on the beginning and end of all things. People doing so tend to forget that this part of the year, in the northern hemispheres where the celebration of these holidays took their present form, was a time where generosity towards ones neighbors, friends, and community --- but not because some diety said so! It was incorporated into cultures out of necessity. Winter time was not a time of bounty, but a time of rationing, scarcity, and fear. Our present day holiday spirit we owe wholly to those people who helped provide for others during this time. Some may claim religious propriety over this day, and some may claim religion should have nothing to do with it. Let them have their debate. Let everyone, regardless of argumentative predilection however, embrace the spirit of generosity that long ago drove, and continues to drive this holiday season. Best wishes everyone; I hope you all have somewhere to go, and people you want to spend time with. Go spend some time with them. The Real Cash Economy will still be here when you are done. See you all on Dec 26! Cheers, -MR
