Ah I see. I can't see all the linked in stuff due to not having an account. I guess I should take him off my list then? That he founded the company, does that make him technically still an employee? ie one that would be listed/counted in the annual report? or should we discount him? I have a funny feeling we are chums on facebook actually. I should check and maybe ask?

You people are a bit scary... doing list of employees...

A member of the board is normally not working for the company, they can but normally not. Maybe Timkrans does, not sure if he still does?
The Auditor is not employed by the company.

It have been clear for a couple of years they got a bit a hubris or to optimistic and grow the number of employees to fast around 2007-2010 that caused a big increase in the cost without having the revenue to support it and since than been forced to cut down to be able to survive.

 

If MA posted updates like this, I wouldn't even think to find out anything further about their game or their company or the people who work there.

But since they don't, and appear to be "running on empty" lately I think it is prudent to do a little investigation as to what the situation is in order to determine an explanation. I don't have a lot of money in Entropia but I do have some. If your bank didn't communicate and started showing signs that they were in trouble I think you'd be doing a little digging too.

Members of the board normally don't work in the company, but they can do it. So adding them to the list of the employees is just because they are members of the board is wrong. But Timkrans I know have worked in the company before, but not sure if he still does or is just a board-member today, that is why write that comment. Problems? Looks like you have.....

I know they was dismissed, but it's not only them. It's not that hard reading the annual reports to SEE that they needed to cut down on the cost and that means kicking people. Start using your brain and not only weeping for old friends in the Calypso team.

er... cool it guys. I gave my justification for wanting to find out who is working for MA and more to the point, what their role entails and the skills they bring so I think we should just drop it now. It would be scary/creepy whatever if I started posting or asking for details from the personal lives like where they live or something. I'm not.

I'm only interested in who is there and what they bring to the table professionally. In fact I'd be happy with "employee 1-5 work in support" without even names if such info were available; but it isn't. With the artists and programmers, it does add something to know their skills and previous work. Names are unfortunately a side effect of such information.
