Not long ago MindArk announced that Johan Andinsson took over the spot after Jan Welter Timkrans. People in our Universe have been following this close on the forums and are very curious to see what will follow next concerning the new leadership. Today MindArk had an extraordinary General Meeting - EntropiaToday and it is now interesting to see if Jan Welter will fight his way back on the throne. We are still waiting for official confirmation on this ... WILL BE UPDATED ...
Well there's deffinetly been a shake up (confirmed by multiple sources), but I will let MA give out the details. Stay tuned : )
I watched this video today about Firefall http://www.shacknews.com/article/70238/firefall-interview-with-red-5-boss-mark-kern they really got there head on strait about about how to make free to play work. I like the bit about how a free to play MMO in Asia is making as much money as WoW with it's subscriptions. This is the kind of thinking i hope we see from the shake up at MA.
MA give out details hmmm so I guess we wait 10 years ;) Was anyone present at the meeting? Maybe they can mention some of what happened?
I wrote David Simmonds to get a statement and an eventual confirmation if Jan is back or not. The reply was: SO ... we'll wait :happy:

I think I know what's happened. It's The Egg!!!!!! The Egg was never meant to hatch it's now the director of MA. This obviously causes some concern because the conflicts of intrest arising from an in game player who is in effect in charge of MA as he owns the egg. This is why they don't want to say anything. This is a true story.
Ever loooked at how much hair Jan has on that dome of his, George? The Egg and The Jan are one! OK, it's not quite as exciting as The Land and The King are one... Meanwhile, back to the waiting....
im a bit curious why people think Timkrans would be back as CEO, given the new chap has been in bearly a few months.
@aridash - one indicator could be that MA removed the last press release again where they told us he was replaced ...
