I wonder whether it would be a good idea to call the items in the wiki the same name they are called in game. Like 'Creatures' instead of 'Mobs' and redirect the 'unofficial' terms to the ingame terms. Just an example, it would apply to many items I guess.
Hmm as I see it (I might be wrong though), then creatures are something made of flesh and blood - not drones and bots etc. - but all goes under the same term, mobs ... ??
Yes, for definition: LINK > http://www.nickyee.com/daedalus/archives/001313.php Mob An AI controlled monster. 'Mob' originally comes from the MUD era, where it was short for 'mobile', to differentiate monsters that would patrol a set of rooms as opposed to monsters which would stay in one place until killed. Mobs can be animal/mutant, robot, elemental, ethical/astral/spirit, etc We have thus far in EU - Animal, Mutant & Robot on Calypso I believe elemental may come at some point and other planets may have other mobs of such nature leaning towards more fantasty style games.
5 minutes ago in global chat: "Hugh Hugh Willose killed a creature (Atrox Guardian) with a value of 83 PED at LA 40, Atrox Valley! Robert Lophophoria Wulff killed a creature (Drone Generation 02) with a value of 53 PED! Naomi NP Polder killed a creature (Mulaak'f Raider) with a value of 118 PED!" What I was aiming at: In EU there are only creatures (no matter whether animal, robot, mutant,...). So I thought it could be an option to call them creatures on the wiki too. But of course creatures are mobs. ;)
