Due to issues affecting mining, the Monria server has been taken offline. MindArk's development team is working hard to resolve those issues and get Monria back up and running as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience, and appreciate your understanding and patience during this unexpected maintenance period. Source
Let's put it straight: You (MA) have delivered Monria behind schedule, incomplete and broken. Besides that some parts seem to be recycled from former and/or canceled EU/Calypso content. A public apology to the owners and fans of Monria and something great to compensate for these issues should be the least to do.
Well, if you try to log in it says: "Server not available. Do you want to login to another server? Continue Cancel" When you click "Continue" it says: "No available server found. Try to login again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, please contact planet support for assistance. Continue"
Tass got it right, and as far as I'm concerned ... you can only guess as to what I'm thinking. First they offer the planetoid to someone else before ultimately putting it up for auction, and then they're too busy doing things for the platform changes and the events on Calypso (don't tell me they're not one and the same team, because they are - they're just different on paper) - and, they were way too busy to focus on Monria to get the job done right and on time ... also ... Absolutely NOTHING was ready or worked on yet at the end of the auction, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. I really feel badly for the Monria Team - for other reasons as well that I won't mention. Also, if I were other PPs, I would be pissed off too, because there is going to be a mission for newbies to go to Calypso to complete things there too before making a choice to go back to Monria - IF they want to - but I think we all know what that means - MindArk will always consider Calypso first, and put other planets on the back burner. There are other planets with newbie experiences, not just Calypso, and ... Monria is supposed to be a separate entity, and NOT connected or associated with any planet whatsoever, but it doesn't look that way.
It seems Monria has already spent some bucks on advertising. I was in Calypso Gateway yesterday and saw some OJ's in Monrian shirts (the same orange shirt but with a dark brown collar). I wonder what will happen to those poor souls - will they be taken to Calypso or left stuck in the Gateway?
I think it was Zorgul (LFB) who once purchased a LandArea and after 1 single Update, the terrain buried his house and terminals...making it unaccesable, for like 6 months ? Im eager to SEE how MA will continue to treat akoz & his investorfriends...or Cyrene, or Arkadia or...SEE what I mean ?
Great first impressions on opening day, with a diversion to Calypso - that's if they could even get to the newbie mission that takes them there. They would have been better off on Arkadia or Cyrene. - that's if they could get off the planetoid to begin with. Can you imagine what the newbies thought in an environment that was shut down a couple of times because the developer (MA) had a challenge getting the mining system right after 10 yrs of practice, and because it was more beneficial to the player than the developer - these are the times they act fast. For those whose nice claims timed out, I doubt whether you will be reimbursed, and I wonder what's going to happen to the Lyst tower of 40-50K ... unless that was part of PR. I really feel bad for the Monria Team.
Maybe i have missed something again, but when do the bunch of people that control this kind of stuff learn to first test something before releasing it? Is it really that hard for them or asked to much to test something proper before releasing it? Everyone should get their stuff they took and missed out on because of expired claims. On the other forum people suggesting people used the bug to get that tower and all those claims... Shame on them! Hope everyone can keep their stuff, even as they will most likely take it back from the players right away or just by adjusting the loot some extra to get it back... As Mindstar9 said, "I really feel bad for the Monria Team." Good luck to them and their endeavor!
