My experience with the foundation as a newbie

The adopt a newbie foundation has been very helpful to me.

I applied to the foundation as a newbie on a Sunday during the day and by that evening I had received an invitation to a soc.

Before responding to the invite I was able to learn about the soc through their website. Everything looked good to me so I replied to the invite, accepting it.

When I joined the soc I was greeted with geniunly friendly and experienced players. They had lots of advice to offer and made themselves available to answer any questions i had.

A week went by and I met more and more of the members. All were as friendly and welcoming.

After that week I was met by the soc leader and promoted from recruit to private. With the promotion came a small gift of a gun, fap, and some armour.

So far it was been a really good experience. The game is much more enjoyable when you have a good soc to hang-out or chat with.

I recommend the Adopt a Newbie program to any new players who want to commit to the game, make new friends, and get some helpful guidance.

 

Hey All. I'm almost 4 months old in Calypso now and things are going great. I've had 5 mining globals ranging from 51ped to 126ped and today I had my very first solo hunting global, a 128ped Argonaut Young.

I had just purchased my first Breer p3a and attached my E-Amp 11 which i crafted myself and headed out northeast of Twin Peaks to kill Argos. Brought 40ped ammo and about halfway through I hit the global. Contained Iron, Eye Oil, Explosive Projectiles, Paladin Faceguard F, and a Kango Mask.

The Kango Mask has very low mu so I was going to tt it, but i ended up selling for tt+0 to Luke so he can put it in his apartment as a reminder of how great the ANF program is.
