Mystery of the Squidfish

    I was running past a spaceship hanger earlier when I suddenly identified the great invisible squidfish lurking near the hanger wall!

    Well I'd only had half a can of low alc brew :rolleyes: but what is a squidfish? I must lookup the mob charts again.

    I think there is a squidfish shown on this poster.

    So much water in EU. Having something other than rippersnapper fish in the water would be much more fun. :D

    I've been attacked by Ripper Fish on land before but not a squidfish, was it hiding in the hanger?

    Nice poster - where do u get one of those? And yer - I think it was in the hanger and of course I think I knew that, but for some reason I thought 'invisible squidfish' would be funny. I should have saved it for April 1st to do an April fools thing...

    The poster on the wall is a photo from EF, showing a looted poster.
    The close up picture is from a web page with some PE artwork, unfortunately I downloaded it ages ago so I don't know the page address. :oops:

    Np, I did a prnt-scrn of it and printed it out with a colour laser and it looks ok. What was really ironic, is that a few hours later I went to cnd and the pilot had her hanger very near there, and I'm not sure if that was the exact one, although I couldnt see a squidfish inside it. :D

    So do they exist? Did they go extinct from over-hunting?
    I think a prize for a photo (screenprint from inside EU) of a squidfish is in order!

    lol Ive never seen a squidfish and ive swam oceans! Perhaps they are air swimmers of another dimension and you just happened to look through a portal!!!! lol Ill keep my eyes open for this mystery squidfish.

    Mmmm - I didn't hang around too long to find out, I just pressed 'R' very quickly:D. I've recently invested in an Orca helmet that makes me look like an astronaut and I've been swimming north of Argus to se if I can find one.

    I am under the belief that these are actually part of a parallel dimension that every once and a while become detectable by out computer chip enhanced targeting vision eyesight. I think this phenominon is a result of the use of Mindforce, technology and perhaps too much ME. Perhaps some binge ME consumption is in order to get a photo.

    I get ME regularly, just enough for my TP chip, but I'm just wondering if there is maybe more to Calypso than meets the eye.
    I had an odd discussion a few hours ago about anomalies that you come accross in EU, such as mobs in the middle of trees near Atlas Haven or Atlas Island North, and mobs under the floor at Solfais, or in apptmt blocks in Omegaton, and we came to the conclusion that some programmers in 'you know where' were maybe a bit lazy where locations for mob generation is concerned, or that as EU would progress, they hadn't thought that various elements of EU would interact in an odd way:rolleyes:.
    We also came up with the idea; just an idea, that there might be things like underwater caves/channels that few ppl have ever found which lead underneath places like rogue plains hangers,and that this was why this very well hidden squishfish was lurking there:Beer:
