    A rumor has spread across Entropia Universe of the discovery of rotten bananas found on Zombies on the Planet ROCKtropia!

    It is suspected that the bananas originate from a Warehouse located Somewhere in Zomhattan.

    The Trade terminal Value per 100 bananas is 10 Cents US (1 ped) . NEVERDIE is prepared to pay Double the trade Terminal Value of the bananas for the first Million bananas collected. (20 PED per 1000 bananas)

    “I need as many bananas as I can get my hands on as quickly as possible for a very important mission I am about to undertake, I would like to thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide. This could be the start of something really Big, but I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up too high, it could also just be another wild goose chase… But I’m optimistic that there might be a great discovery down the road… That’s why I need the bananas, I can’t explain any thing more yet. Just get me the bananas, I’m not asking you to trust me, I know that’s too much to ask for, so I’ll pay for them… In-fact I’ll even throw in a Piece of Special Ops Armor (L)* to anyone who can bring me 50,000 bananas at a time. Up to the first Million Bananas collected that is… I’m Not entirely sure these Rotten Bananas will be useful or if one Million will be enough, so If anyone finds a good source of Ripe Bananas, please let me know.

    They range from L1 zombies all the way up to difficult for midlevel players(not sure the L#)

    Originally zombies weren't that difficult, I think they went up to about L10, but I found that they would suddenly come out of nowhere in large numbers which made looting the one's you had got fairly problematic - they invariably get between yourself and the dead ones :p Now though I'm sure the levels go much higher.

    Maybe I'm thinking of something else, but I thought the rotten banana came from Next Island because of the Papoos, which makes more sense than being on ROCKtropia and connected to Zombies, so this is rather confusing.

    Does anyone know anything about this mystery, or is this just another one of those random things that don't fit in the grander scheme of things.

    Yes, these are one in the same. Neverdie got his hands on the bananas since most likely, as others have pointed out, his studio created them for NI's August 2012 release that as we know never happened due to the simple fact David Post got pissed off over the bananas and new crystals that were going to be released for that 'BIG' update.

    Sorry, found the forum post but the blog was deleted. A few days after the blog entry about all that was new coming to NI with the highlight being the banana and yet more crystals just a few days later they were all let go.

    Don't know how I missed all of this, and I would still like to see the original postings or comments, because David Post split from NDS before that August 2012 update, and it was made known that production (Managed by Harold Sipes) was moved to New York.

    Therefore, I'm under the impression that NDS was not involved with development activities at that time, so this also is very confusing. David Post never revealed who his technical team was, so a lot of speculation could be inserted here too.

    Also, rotten bananas and Zombies is SO incongruent it makes me shake my head ... not even laugh because it's just that bizarre. Going to be interesting to see how all of this plays out.

    I have my speculations, but for now I'm going to keep them to myself. :biggrin:
