  1. Hey Star,

Just taking a breather while the companion trains up. She is at rank 7 now *smiles*
I love how items scale on companions *grins*

Stopping off at all the scrying stones of course :D

It reminds me of the vistas in Guild Wars 2, not sure if you follow the living story in GW2.
Never the less some of the scenery there is absolutely amazing, like a living painting, very immersive.
Trailers don't do it the justice it deserves, here is another from actual ingame footage.

    Back to NWO;
I discovered today NWO introduced weaponsmith, artifacing and something to do with black ice ?
And ofc starting to level each, except this black ice one, still need to find out more about it.

Gaining those coins slowly lol I forgot I had all those Portable Altars onhand hehe
And the XP bar moved, what is with that ? is that beyond level 60 now ? or is it something new like AA ?
As in alternate advancement or something.

Be back soon, nom'n on lunch.

    MindStar9 Floating in Space

We seem to keep missing each other. Obie and I were in the game for a bit earlier and did a little work on our Great Weapon Fighters, but only did quests in part of Sharandar, then got out of game to watch a movie.

Glad things are moving along for you, and yes, they added things to the professions (Leadership, Alchemy, Artificing, Leatherworking, Mailsmithing, Weaponsmithing, Tailoring, and the Black Ice Shaping that you mentioned.

The Black Ice thing is part of Module 3: Icewind Dale which you can access only by achieving 3 Boons in either Sharandar or Dread Ring with a Level 60 character, so doing the quests and the campaigns for Sharandar and Dread Ring are important.

    These might help:

The Black Ice Shaping is a profession available only after you access Module 3: Icewind Dale and start collecting the Black Ice that you find in the field or through Heroic Encounters as part of the rewards.

Also, with Module 3, you now gain experience, and with each full experience bar, you get an experience reward. It's not the same each time, but it's nice to get "Power Points" that you can add.

i'll share more info when I can, it's late now and time for bed. ONE of these times we'll catch up in the game, and I mentioned to Obie to be on the look-out for you if he should get in NW during his early-morning hours since he gets up with his Sugar Gliders.

    Catch up soon.

  3. Thanks for the update, aye that cleared that up pretty quick *smiles*
I almost want to jump on Viperstrike now and play him through module 2+
Though I will keep with Shadow for now, until level 25 anyway if that occurs before Module 4 is released.

About the catching up, no rush, plenty to do in the meantime hehe.
Go to bed already lol, or I will start calling NightOwl. :tongueout:

  4. Hey Star,

I am up late tonight, for the next hour or so since training is posponed till later in the day.

I just did my first instanced wave event since returning to NWO, Mog the Crusher! ... Quite insane!
I noticed the devs turned the encounters up a lot from when NWO was in beta.

Looks like I have not lost my touch after all lol. Naturally I pass on all loot items in these style events except for the big chest at the end which is for everyone anyway.

Here are some happy snaps, I was quite impressed at the boosted challenge from how it used to be.

LOL sorry for so many pics, it was kind of hard trying to hit the capture button while trying to shoot & avoid stuff. It seems I missed a lot of the awesome effects others were producing using thier feats.

I will leave most of them as attachments.

Final wave + boss getting ready to party. Bad shot, I was screen-capture trigger-happy due to the intensity.

Most adds killed, boss almost down:

    The Paingiver @1: Viper

Of course getting your hands dirty like that, your always going to cop some damage back
    2014-08-11_00014.jpg

Anyway that was a lot of fun, if they have turned them all up like that I am definitely down for more. WOOT!
The waiting for party auto-assemble que takes no time at all. I was very surprised, less than a minute.
Yeah I know PUGs suck for strategic dungeons but for a slaughter fest like this one they rock :naughty:

    Now back to NWO :sneaky:

  5. "Between a Lock and a Hard Place"

    Hey Star,

I may do a mention for the good ones here and there for yourself & obie (And others interested) to try out since they all scale in challenge and reward to what-ever level you are. I managed to pick up a few blue quality items through this adventure too. I will leave the happy snaps as attachments.

This one "Between a Lock and a Hard Place" was quite interesting, story focused though also combat focused too along with some surprises along the way *smiles*

I loved running into a pit lord so early in the game again and the butcher and bartender were fun too.

This author also had a story within a story in which the deamon you saved (After battle with her and making a deal, yes she is a strange one lol) advertised the next quest in the arthor's questline. It is a seperate adventure of which you play a villain. I thought it a creative way to promote your foundry creations in NWO in that completing the second story within the main one leaves a lasting impression.

I tried to not take any pics of spoilers, it takes around 35-40 mins to complete this one.

Some nice scenes created by the author too. Not sure how he got the specific images for the paintings used, that must be a new feature in the foundry.

Off for a bit to do RL stuff, may be back later this eve.

Edit: Fixed attachements, wrong adventure lol.

    MindStar9 Floating in Space

Well THAT looked like fun ... we are definitely going to have to try out more Foundry quests just to get a feel for what everyone is creating. We went on a few with Mac, and so far there was only one that was pretty bad. Otherwise, the ones chosen have been pretty interesting with some creative environments and game-play.

  7. OMG! This one rocks! It is the best foundry I have done thus far ....I would tip this player 5k AD if I could.
"DD:Part 1: The Wobbly Leg" as a part of "A Dwarven Dilemma" Campaign

What a trip! I will never view cheese the same way in Neverwinter again. This foundry has warped my fragile lil mind. Here are some happy snaps (attached), I missed a lot of the twists and turns to keep it as a surprise. Expect the unexpected and bring along a few healing potions just in case lol.

It starts out in the world "Outskirts of the Tower District", a custom designed setting ... (20 file attachment limit)
Most of the story is not covered lol Have fun!
