The VU is up. Technical Papoo has no new blueprints. Still cannot refine the crystals. Portal Guardians are still named "???".
thanks for the reply guys! and lee, i dont think you need to bother. simply check the slots in the blueprint books, im pretty sure there are no new slots, meaning even if you got new blueprints (which you most likely wont) you got nowhere to put them so you cant use them anyway
Im sure new blueprints will have to be available at the Tech Papoo. Reasoning is this: Basic Pants and Basic Shirt require Molisk Enamel Buttons as an ingredient. These are not native to Next Island. To have the most basic blueprint require imported items would be foolish, as Next Island would be pegging their success on the continued success of Planet Calypso instead of operating as an independent entity.
I've been waiting (since the creation of rocktropia) for the 'molisk tooth' to be replaced with just 'tooth'. likewise, the buttons to lose their 'molisk' name and the same for the 'foul' bone and buttons. then, newer creatures on other planets could drop these tooth and bone parts to avoid having their source locked into calypso. alas, this has never happened. I would have thought a simple name change was the easiest solution for this situation.
Thanks for that info Red, I was wondering about that situation on RT-as we will probably be faced with the same on NI. I expect that pretty much like RT (as I understand it) crafters will loot some new bps for planet specific stuff (and good point about the new spaces needed in books JF, unless they are all just to go in the L books), but overall the bp system and books don't really change.
Actually that makes me wounder if quite a few of the existing clothes / weapons etc bp's that can only be made with calypso stuff will become calypso only bp's in a calypso bp book? hmm * ponder *
We could get bp's for NI and have no idea they are dropping if they are limited bp's until someone loots them. It would be an extremely bad PR move if they did impliment them this way but it is possible. I have a couple K in NI stuff waiting for bp's to start crafting.
