New conquest cycle coming up!

Hi all,

We will soon announce the winners of the current game in our Conquest System, and reinitiate a new game, with changed settings. I initially planned on adding a bit more functionality to the game, and building a few new features into it, but there's been a change of plans, and I will no longer consider touching the code of the current system in any way. The reasoning behind this, I will announce in due time. In other words, what is there now will not be changed or extended. Instead, I'll try and play with some of the settings, in order to achieve shorter and more intensive periods of conquest.

In any case, fight your fights while you can. The winners will not receive anything in particular, but we will announce them on our forum, so you'll achieve eternal fame.

We intend the next games to be more violent, more active, and faster paced. Any suggestions are more then welcome, as long as they do not require me to change the code ;)

 

The conquest system will be taken offline now temporarily while we setup a new game. The winners will be announced in this thread shortly :)

The join problems with the conquest system have been resolved.

Harumph. I'll go and investigate. Terribly sorry about all this :( I'm still baffled why this is happening, but I'll hopefully manage to figure it out.

 

I solved the problem, and tested a bit. Things seem to work now :)
