HIHI I am woundering how hard it is to get those clothes from the hub? I hope its pretty difficult because thats horible to any colorer to see that if they very easy to get so I am curious. Getting coloring work already hard and skilling up takes years and years so all this pre colored clothes is direct attack on my skills it seem like :o
Hello Kitten! These clothes are from the Hub, you have to earn a pretty decent amount of tokens/kills per piece. So I wouldn't say they are too easy to get but they are not impossible to get either, I think it's a fair amount. Not to mention that the tokens aren't only used for clothing but for weapons as well. I would say this is in no way an attack on players who specialize in coloring and/or texturing ( especially since we are planning on releasing more textures very soon), the reasons we have the colors that we do is that they match the token colors that have existed since Cyrene has been available. In fact, if there's interest for these AS colorable pieces that's something we can see about as well. I hope this answers your question. Cheers, Kris
I think this is a tricky one. There will always be a balance between making cool stuff available for players to buy/get and not upsetting people who can create clothes using the existing system. The reality is that Entropia must consider other MMO's to a degree and the cost of things. It kinda gets away with murder really in that things still cost way more than what they might in other games. I think it works cause EU is special I guess to a degree. Ideally there will be a balance between cool pre coloured stuff being released and what the colourers/texturers can do. At the end of the day there should always be a market for "I want SPECIFICALLY this" but the problem is that even specific request shouldn't cost SILLY money otherwise the system simply gets underused. A cheaper and more widely used system would be better for many imo. PS I'm vaguely looking for 1 field texturing in Prancer if anyone can oblige. Possibly also Allo...I need a source for the materials though
Any images of the clothes? Are those colored but standard clothes or something like special "I survived the hub" shirts? I guess a cool design with one pre-colored field and another additinally colorable field would be a solution!?
