    So here's the full text of official stable auction winners press release. The list of winners is obviously based on the list we've created in post#1 of the stables thread ~ 2 weeks ago.


    NEW TRAINERS SPEND OVER $58,000 IN AUCTIONS FOR VIRTUAL STABLES

    Trainers ready for upcoming competitive pet battles in Entropia Universe

    Gothenburg, Sweden – August 13, 2014 /Entropia Universe/ – Entropia Universe AB, the largest Massively Multiplayer Online Real Cash Economy (MMORCE) game, announced today that it has completed its first auction of stable estates. The auction winners will be able to form a new business managing and training pets for combat.

    The thirteen auctions for the stable estates were won at the end of July, and the stables are located at strategic points throughout Entropia Universe. These new estates will generate revenue through different channels for the stable managers by charging a small fee for services such as: selling, trading and specialized training of pets. Stables will also be the hub for future Pet Battle Arenas and Controlled Creature Battle Octagons where all pet and creature activities will be held. Stable managers can also earn PED by renting stalls to other avatars for their pets, and by providing specialized training only available at the stables. Stables provide housing and maintenance for stabled avatar pets, including food and energy. The better care provided by the stables will result in faster pet progress and better performance in competitions. These new trainers will play a significant role in the upcoming taming and pet battle content scheduled to be implemented over the next several Version Updates

    Selling and trading? Why not Auction? Will pets not be auctionable/ shopable/player to player tradable? Is this a sort of licenced auction then? or a special shop? Maybe a linked Shop to all the other shops in stables elsewhere? Can we expect other linked shops or licenced auctions in the future then?

    What is specialised training? Is is something that can only happen if I am within n metres of stable/in stable? Is this scalable in the long term?

    Stables will also be the hub for future Pet Battle Arenas and Controlled Creature Battle Octagons where all pet and creature activities will be held.

    Meaning a pet cannot attack another pet unless it is in a battle arena? and also a controlled creature can't attack another controller creature unless it is also in a battle octagon...? Sure hope they are big enough for Eomons or big bulks ;) So do the stable owners get cash from events?

    How will the specialized training be done? Something like DNA on land areas? ie come to Narfi's stable! The only stable where you can teach your pet to carry you! or something?

    So will it be a case of I can get nutrios myself and look after my own pet or I can pay a stable owner and instead it will deal with that for me?

    I do wish MA would release a detailed spec for these things. They could do so now. I see no reason why not. The Stables have already been sold. Unless someone resells them I can't see how this will effect the economy.

    If 'all trades are final' how the hell are there officially (for investors) that exist? Got anything to say about this traction pr?

    Well, how does that work IRL, there is a company that buys 'stuff' and people invest in that company and all they have is a written contract to make clear that they invested and get part of the proceeds, but the 'stuff' bought is still owned by just the company. I would assume same goes for this investment and I would assume that the investors have something to prove they are part owner, or better, that they gave money to the owner to buy it and in return get a share in the profit.

    So on paper (and to mindArk) Narfi is owner of that stable, but in the background there are people that gave him some cash to be able to buy it.

    The fact that they mention the investors on the list, is because we did and they copied it :)
