When they launch the probe it will encounter an alien robot entity and go off to Akbal-Cimi but don't worry the hardware and software will encounter a bug. This bug will set "free" a chain of events, i.e. since there can be no update in space, the two spacecraft both man made and alien will start whining incessantly. This will make the problem of course even worse. The two spacecraft will eventually have an all out fight. Both spacecraft will be damaged but will survive the encounter...
