Hello, I just started playing Entropia and I am completely lost!!! I just keep walking and not getting anything accomplised. If anybody has any tips on understanding on the game and playing I would really appreciate the advice.
As a new player I suppose figuring out how to do the following is key: - How to use chat system. Local chat and private messaging. - How to join a society - How to sweat a mob The fact that you have figured out how to walk is a great step forward (that took me a while to do when i started ;) ) Not too sure if you allready know how to do the above three and want to know something else you can do ... Anyway if your in Port Atlantis usually many players hang around there who are willing to help new comers. There are also some "guides" they can probably advise you better than me.
If you are really lost (like in the middle of nowhere) press M to see your map. There should be an arrow on there (thats you) and one or more blue dots (thats a TP). Make your way to one of those dots, there will be people there probably and you can ask questions there. Thanks Tass :) Hey there Alice, Nice to see you here in EP already, and welcome to Entropia. It can be a very confusing place to enter these days as there are more and more things happening. I see you already applied for ANF and I'm just about to go and put your name up on our list. As Tass kindly said already, you should look into joining the Newbie Society that exists only for you ANF Newbies to join, to get familiar with being in a society, to have your questions answered by our three society overseers and to enjoy the company of other newbies. I also have a couple of other things up my sleeve for the Newbie Society, so stay tuned for those ;) Are you in the Calypso Gateway still, or are you actually in Port Atlantis already? If you are in Port Atlantis, you want to find your way to the dock area with the teleporter "New Arrivals" and look for the NPCs (Non-Player-Characters) which will give you your first missions. These will help ease you into the life on Calypso. I think I am at Calypso Island...I tired to exactly get to one of the teleporters yesterday but got attacked. All the information everybody gave has been a big help so I am now on my way to find the mission for the sweat camp. I appreciate everybody help!!! Alice
