Kinda confirms next friday as public launch really, nothing more has been said that I know of about any 'beta' for existing EU players first (unless they still plan that for Tuesday or Wednesday, as originally pencilled on my calandar?).

From David's Facebook "if you live in the LA area or visiting next week we will unveil Next Island's 3D virtual world on Dec 10 for the video game media at Neverdie Studios 6834 Hollywood Blvd 2nd fl, 5-9pm. NI will go live for the gamer media with add'l launches at CES and in NYC - prob at Carolines where we will make virtual and real history. hmmm sounds like its not going live until 5pm Pacific Time. That would be 8pm for me.
