I don't know if this is a bug exactly, but let me explain. I just installed the game, and while it does take quote a long time for the game to complete the initial loading and let me in, that's not the main problem. Once I'm in, the world is rendered with all its color and detail correctly, but people are not. My avatar, as well as those of NPCs and other PCs are completely white and have minimal detail. Also, most of the customization sliders don't seem to be changing anything on the avatar. Because of these things, I can't customize my avatar to look the way I want it to. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?
Kind of sounds like the graphics are set to safe mode. Not sure what system you have, but hit options, graphic settings and then change to what your system can handle
If this doesn't work for you I once had the same problem, but on a different planet. What I did was switch my graphics to safemode(because it was on very high), logged out, switched it to medium in the client loader and everything loaded fine after that and I was able to adjust my graphics in game after that back to very high. Also you could always try a repair from the client loader.
